Writing

As a freelance writer at KCB Loft, I provide tailored documents to clients. Sometimes this involves reviewing contextual and procedural data, and drafting clear and concise language.  Other times, I perform research and compose well-ordered manuscripts. The finished document relays the intended message with élan. I work with clients to discuss any unclear points.

I co-wrote applications to accreditors for Montserrat College of Art’s planned Master’s Degree programs in Art Education and Community Leadership. I drafted the Montserrat College of Art 2012-2015 Strategic Planning Report, liaising with the President and his Cabinet. Additionally, I provided research and writing on the Sargent House Museum portrait guide book in Summer, 2012.

In other arenas, I publish across disciplines and historical periods, in outlets online and academic. Currently I serve as co-editor, publisher and contributor for a scholarly e-journal, Open Inquiry Archive (ISSN 2167-8812). From 2007-2009 I served as Co-Editor and Senior Writer at Bread and Circus Magazine: an independent, non-commerical online journal focusing on culture.

Rates

Writing services are typically billed hourly; rates depend on the type and extent of writing and face-to-face meetings required.

After reviewing the project, I will prepare an estimate of time and cost, including delivery dates for the completed text.  Please contact me with any questions.
